GHC Fitness center rules of use and the waiver

 

Article 1. 

Only staff members, consultants of the organizations occupying the Global Health Campus and family members of employees, (the “Users”) who have subscribed for membership may have access to the GHC Fitness Center. 

 

Article 2. 

The surveillance of the GHC Fitness Center is entrusted to personnel, present in the GHC Fitness Center (the “Coach”), employed by the Service Provider in accordance with applicable provisions of the Framework Agreement between the Global Fund and the Service Provider. Users must respect the rules, in particular the opening and closing times, as well as any instructions given by the Coach. 

 

Article 3. Supervision

GHC Fitness Center equipment may be used with or without the presence of the Coach. The Users must take note of the general safety instructions, the infirmary with emergency telephone, the emergency exits, the itineraries, the instructions, and agree to respect them. 

 

Article 4. Security and use of sports equipment

The setting up and unsetting of ordinary equipment in the GHC Fitness Center shall be carried out by the User and under her/his responsibility. The User must have understood the technical characteristics of operation.

Before any use, the User must ensure that the equipment and materials provided are in good working order. In case of malfunction, the User must inform the Coach.

It is reminded that the movement and use of certain equipment is subject to standards that must be respected.

It is strictly forbidden to borrow equipment provided in the GHC Fitness Center. 

 

Article 5. Dress, Hygiene, Respect of the material and of others

Users shall use the GHC Fitness Center in clothing that is suitable for sports facilities.

The Users may only enter the GHC Fitness Center with special shoes for exclusive use indoors in the sports facility and that have not been used outside.

Photographs of the Users are prohibited.

The GHC Fitness Center must be used in such a way as to ensure respect for the material and other Users. 

 

Article 6. Security

The Coach ensures that the emergency exit and access are free.

The installation of special equipment and materials shall be carried out by competent persons under the supervision of the Coach.

The Coach commits to ensuring that all Users leave the premises after the closing time of the GHC Fitness Center.

The Users are asked to return equipment to a normal place and state after finishing the use.  

 

Article 7. Limitation of liability

The Global Fund and the organizations occupying the Global Health Campus shall not be held liable for any personal injury that may result from the use of the sports facilities.

 

 

GHC sports facilities waiver and release of liability

The Global Fund and the organizations occupying the Global Health Campus have provided GHC Fitness Center for the use of employees onsite at Global Health Campus and disclaim all liability arising out of the use of the GHC Fitness Center. By using the GHC Fitness Center Users agree to the following:

  • I understand that the use of GHC Fitness Center and group activities entails risks of injury.
  • I agree that access is strictly prohibited to persons under 18 years old and confirm that I am over 18 years old.
  • I understand that I should only use GHC Fitness Center if my physical health permits, as determined by me whether with or without consultation with medical professionals.
  • I understand that there is a risk of loss, destruction, or theft of my personal property when using the fitness center.
  • I understand that my use of GHC Fitness Center is at my sole discretion and responsibility. I assume all risks for my use of the center and the equipment therein.
  • I agree to only use GHC Fitness Center in accordance with applicable rules.
  • I acknowledge that I understand how to use the equipment at the GHC Fitness Center properly or, in the event I do not know how to use the equipment, that I will instruct myself on the proper use of the equipment prior to using the equipment or ask the coach present in the room for support.
  • I consent to be video/audio-recorded by security service provider, for safety and fitness rules checking/application only.
  • I agree to receive newsletters from the Service Provider regarding their activities at GHC.

I acknowledge that the use of the Global Health Campus Fitness Centre involves certain risks and release the Global Fund and organizations occupying the Global Health Campus from liability for any injury or loss of property.

I have read the foregoing “Waiver and Release of Liability” and “Rules for Sports Facilities” and voluntarily acknowledge and accept its content by submitting my subscription.
